Rooms 3 & 4
These two luxuriously large bedrooms on the first floor have big bay windows with stunning views over the town and surrounding countryside and comfy seating to relax on and enjoy those views. The sun will help to wake you up in the morning. The original features in both rooms are the traditional tiled fireplaces, Room 4 also has an ornate log burner, cornicing in Room 3, picture rail, bell pushes (thankfully not working, no matter how hard you try!) and high ceilings.
Room 3 'The Owl Room' is now a lovely large double, which has a king-size bed with a bathroom en-suite (an electric shower is over the bath). There are 2 arm chairs in the bay window to sit and admire the view. A maximum of 2 people can sleep in this room. See more on the double room icon.

Room 4 'The Caerhaeys Room' has a king size bed and a single bed (normally made up as a day bed), allowing 2 adults and 1 child to sleep comfortably. Along with a compact shower en-suite, there are a further 2 comfy armchairs for relaxing in.
The pictures in this room are photos we have taken of Caerhaeys Castle, a lovely local house and gardens that are open during the spring.

Rooms 1, 6 & 7
Here are another three lovely, spacious and adaptable rooms. Rooms 1 & 6 have king-size beds and single beds plus large shower en-suites. There are partial views of Lostwithiel; and the rooms face the road which is about 30-40 foot below the house and also get the sun all day long. Both these rooms have traditional tiled fireplaces, picture rails, bell pushes (still not working!), high ceilings and Room 6 has cornicing. Room 7 has a double bed and a single bed, plus a large shower ensuite and views over Lostwithiel.
Room 1 'The William Morris Room' is on the first floor and has cane seating for two people, and a little window seat. The pictures on the wall are from a local artist. The ensuite is huge with a 900cm x 900cm shower, basin and toilet - this is half what used to be a bedroom; the pictures on the wall are of flowers from the local gardens.
We have redecorated this room and it is has a William Morris'esk' feel to it, which we have used from looking at Lanhydrock House.

Room 6 'The Old Breakfast Room' is on the ground floor, and was the original ‘breakfast’ room where the lady of the house would read or write letters in the sunshine. The bay window allows the light in all day. There is a two seater leather sofa to relax on, plus the single bed, when not in use, doubles as a ‘day’ bed.
The pictures are prints from 2 local artists of local places. There is also a little of my crochet work dotted around.

Room 7 'The Attic Hideaway' is on the 2nd floor in the attic, and would have been part of the servants quarters. The view is over the town (same as the best rooms!), the roof beams are also part of the ceiling and there is a small cast iron fireplace where the servants would have put their one or two coals to keep them warm at night.
The single bed doubles as a 'day' bed when not in use and there is wicker seating to relax on. A cot in this room would be difficult due to its configuration.
There is a lot of my craft work in this room, tapestry, counted cros stitch pictures, cushions etc.
